An old wives’ tale states that ‘if you give someone a pair of shoes they will walk out of your life forever’ but sneaker companies are still dressing up some of their signature models for the holiday. Check out some of these bad boys!
Last year the Nike Blazer Mid GS ‘Love’ made its way onto shelves decked out in this wonderfully morose look. Something about a Black sneaker meant to commemorate such a whimsical holiday makes the sentiment seem more adult if you ask us. The hits of Pink look great in the mix.
It must be tradition to pull out all the stops when adapting a Nike Court Force as a Valentine’s Day colorway. The release this year is not nearly as gaudy as 2007′s Nike Court Force High Valentines Whitelight-Pink but they are still very seasonal. For this drop, they chose to limit the colors used a bit, and while the Nike Court Force High Valentines Pack 2010 may not have as vibrant a color palette, the die cut hearts and embroidered tongue tag are a nice touch.
One of my favorite Valentine themed drops has to be the Nike AMOR Pack. A Nike Dunk High and a Nike Air Force 1 Low face off in the name of love with graphic-embroidered uppers. Both models are trimmed in leather and have an AMOR tongue tag.
